LS Drives now on UK Governments Energy Technology List (ETL)
Thursday 12th November, 2009 6:45 am
The iC5, iG5A and iS7 drives are now officially on the UK government’s Energy Technology List. When choosing LS drives for an energy saving application, you can now apply for an interest free loan from the Carbon Trust under the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme. This means that when the drive is purchased, installed and put into operation at reduced speed – the energy saved after the initial pay-back period can pay for the loan in terms of savings in electricity costs. So because the loan is interest free, it is effectively a free drive and you are doing your bit towards saving the planet!
You can see our drives on the ETL by going to:
In the quick search boxes you can either search by manufacturer – in this case ‘Dalroad Norslo’ or by product by typing in ‘LS’ or iG5A etc.
